The Lost: a search for six of six million

What a beginning! I am enthralled with this book from the Yiddish, to the mystery of the ancestors,  to the beloved Grandfather who will tell certain stories but not others, who reminds me so much of my own Grandpa whose mind is now lost from our world. Then right in the middle of the first chapter is a lesson on Rashi and the first Parashat Beresihit…and you think why now, how does this relate to the story the author was so deftly weaving and then he ends the lesson and you know. You know that this is going to be a book you can’t out down, that you won’t want to put down, that you may remember forever.
