Poetry of the Most High, Blessed be His Name

On Saturday evening we have a small Bible Study. Some good friends come over and we talk about the previous week’s parasha. This last week was the first reading of the new cycle, the beginning. The commentary I took my study from was FFOZ’s Torah Club Volume 5. The author describes the poetry of the creation retelling. Explaining that when the Most High, Blessed be His Name, speaks the earthly translation is poetry, it is complex, it has rhyme and metre, strophe and stanza. How blessed we are to hear His voice, through His word, through His creation, through His love.
