I miss you already

This Tuesday my Granny went to be with the Lord.
She lived an amazing life, full of intrigue, loss and happiness.
She was wife to one man, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother.
She was a woman of faith and prayer.
She believed great things were always possible.
She was my confidant.
She was my counselor.
She was my dear sweet Granny.
She will forever be missed and loved.

The world has been made poorer by the loss of your granny. She was truly a remarcable woman and the streangth and tenacity she showed right up until the end was an inspiration. Take comfort in the knowledge that “at the last trump… the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” We will see her again, if not in the age then in the next. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Grandma this year too. I was very very close to her. We (daughters and granddaughters) are such a beautiful part of carrying on the memory of or grandmothers to our children. I love to repeat things she used to say and share the wisdom she blessed me with to my children. It honors her and blesses my children. May Abba comfort you in your time of loss.

@Blacksheep – thank you for your prayers, I do rest in the thought that this isn't it, there is more.

@Mommy Set Free – My good friend JennB, helped my daughter make a simple memory book of things she remembered about my Granny it was very sweet to see my daughter remember about Granny.
