After Sabbath Musings – 1/21/12
I’m not sure what to talk about this week.
This morning we had a great guest speaker at service. He brought some great ideas on how to witness to Muslims. His insight on cultural differences and perspective was enlightening. He gave some tips on what to say to be understood within the cultural context.
Later I studied the FFOZ Torah Club Vol 6 for this weeks parsha. It was a bit of a repeat if you have read FFOZ’s Galations. I really enjoy seeing the book of Acts and Galations from a Judaic viewpoint. It really does change so much in how you interpret it.
After havdallah we cleaned up all the kids bedrooms, then had a quick dinner and dessert. The kids are all in bed now and I can’t think of a thing to write about that seems of importance.
Some days are like that…you don’t have a crazy spiritual high, you don’t have some great angst to step on your soapbox with, your children don’t meet a huge milestone, or draw all over your newly painted wall, some days are just nice, plain, pleasant, quiet (with a dash of monkey thrown in) and you know normal….guess those days are good right.
