Today’s service was great. I really love this Rabbi, he gets what community is supposed to be and is really encouraging the congregation to form that ideal. He opened the floor today for discussion so instead of a sermon, we got a lot of what was pressing on peoples hearts. I loved it, can’t wait for another service just like that one.
Without children’s service today the kids were with us. Ephraim always struggles with this, and though Dad would disagree, he handled it all right. I brought him up with me to the front to say hamotzi and he gave us all a chuckle when he ate the bread before we had finished the translation. He declined the wine though, lol.
